A new travel information terminal is being tested in Berri-UQAM, Bonaventure and Henri-Bourassa
métro stations. This new tool will provide customers who travel through these stations with practical information to assist them in their travels.
This project will help to monitor customer interest for this new service. An assessment will also be made to see if this tool should be expanded to other metro stations, and the content will be reviewed according to the location of these information terminals.
The travel information terminal is equipped with two screens, a menu and a keyboard. Here is an outline of the information available:
- The upper screen features the three next arrival times for bus lines that stop at the métro station where you are presently located.
- The bottom screen, the menu and the keyboard allow you to :
- consult the station’s neighbourhood map;
- locate points of interest near the métro station;
- consult all bus and métro schedules;
- find your way easily with the trip calculator;
- obtain general information about the OPUS card;
- learn more about fares and all products available;
- find useful telephone numbers.
