Where can be found information on STM services?
At the Customer Services Centre located on the mezzanine level of the Berri-UQAM métro station. There our staff can answer transit-related questions, and provide customers with schedule and route information tools. Customers can also obtain a refund for outdated tickets or settle a transaction error. The Centre is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. Transit information documents can be requested by telephone:

Where can be exchanged demagnetized transit passes?

CAM (Monthly pass)

  • Before the 5th day of the month, a demagnetized pass can be exchanged at any métro station;

  • From the 5th to the 24th of the month, a defective pass can be exchanged at:

    • Berri-UQAM

    • Côte-Vertu

    • Jean-Talon (near the Tour Jean-Talon access)

    • Lionel-Groulx

CAM hebdo (Weekly pass)

  • From Friday to Tuesday, demagnetized weekly passes can be exchanged at any métro station.

  • On Wednesday and Thursday, a defective weekly pass can only be exchanged at Berri-UQAM station.

How many calls are processed by the AUTOBUS automated telephone service?
AUTOBUS receives an average of 35,000 calls daily. The most popular routes on this service are  43 - Monselet, 160 - Barclay and 51 - Édouard-Montpetit Blvd.

Where should one phone to get information on bus routes?
The Information Centre offers that service since 1968. Agents at the Information Centre answer to over 6,000 calls every day (including calls processed by electronic equipment). The service is available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends.

Who qualifies for reduced fares?

  • Children aged 6 to 11 pay reduced fare.
  • Children aged 12 to 18 can pay reduced fare upon presentation of their Reduced Fare Access Card.
  • Students aged 18 to 25 can travel with a reduced fare CAM (monthly pass) upon presentation of their Carte Privilege.
  • Senior Citizens (65 and over) can pay reduced fare upon presentation of their Reduced Fare Access Card.

Where is Montreal's first reserved lane on which buses travel against traffic?
The first reserved bus lane on which buses travel against traffic during rush hour runs along Pie-IX Boulevard. The 12-kilometre lane extents from Pierre-de-Coubertin Avenue at the south to d'Amos Street at the north. It was inaugurated in June 1990.
