Please note that transit fares are not sold aboard vehicules.
Transit service is free for children under 6 travelling with a responsible adult.
Transit fares are exempt of all taxes.
Persons 65 and over MUST have a photo ID OPUS card to be entitled to reduced fares.  

1- Regular fare only
2- Without a photo ID OPUS card, anyone paying the reduced fare is at risk of a fine plus administrative fees.
3- Photo ID OPUS card not required for schoolchildren 6 to 11 years old.
4- Group fare entitles holder to a single trip accompanied by up to 10 children from 6 to 13 years old.
5- Family Outings allows up to five children under 12 to ride public transit for free on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, as well as during the Holidays, December 24 – January 8, 2012, and winter school break, March 3 – 11, 2012, when accompanied by an adult with a valid fare card.
6- This pass must be validated before midnight.

Notwithstanding the preceding information, fare administration and corresponding transit fare use must comply with provisions outlined in By-Law R-037 and its amendments and By-Law R-105 and its amendments with respect to conditions pertaining to ownership and use of all transit fares issued by STM and any modifications.
