Access card for reduced fares

The new personalized OPUS card replaces the access card for reduced fares. From now on, a single card will hold your valid transit fare (monthly pass, tickets, etc.), your photo ID and fare privilege.

Eligibility Requirements

To pay the reduced fare, you must comply with the following requirements:

You are between 12 and 17 years old and

Study full-time in an institution recognized by the ministère de l’Éducation du Loisir et du Sport du Québec (MELS);
Are under the age of 18 at October 31 of current year.

You are between 18 and 25 years old and

Reside on the island of Montréal;
Study full-time in an institution recognized by the MELS;
Are under the age of 26 at October 31 of current year.

Accepted transit fares

Once you have your new OPUS card, you must load it with these reduced fares to use public transit:
