Réchaud-bus

Since 1995, the money funding Réchaud-bus has helped to feed thousands of underprivileged children in Montreal. Réchaud-bus is the humanitarian project of active and retired STM employees. In addition to collecting significant amounts of money each year, the committed workforce is also active in the rolling canteen’s administration, organization and operations. Some 50 volunteers work 4 days a week to provide meals for the children, while criss-crossing Montréal’s neighbourhood streets. Réchaud-bus currently visits 65 schools and 17 youth homes.
